After moving to Duxbury, she bacame a long-time member of the Holy Family Womans Club and enjoyed social events of Mystery Rides and Christmas celebrations. She was also a very active art student at Marcia Ballou's art classes at the Marshfield Council on Aging. Her artwork was always entered in to the "Art in Bloom" events and many other showings at the center. She continued to paint even with her declining vision as this is what she thoroughly enjoyed. Her paintings can be found among family, friends, and acquaintances, and covering the walls of her apartment. Her paintings will always be cherished, as they tell a story of her life.
