DuVerger, Henry J. Jr., "Hank" of Marshfield, passed away on February 18, 2016 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Marjorie (McGinn) DuVerger. Dear father of Karen DuVerger of Marshfield and Linda McMahon and her husband Timothy of Wilbraham MA. Devoted grandfather of Cameron Hassing, Tess, Claire, and Cate McMahon.

Henry was born in Winthrop, MA. Raised in Weymouth by the late Henry J., and Susan DuVerger. Predeceased by his sisters Barbara and Phyllis, Henry leaves a brother Paul DuVerger of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Henry graduated Cum Laude from Boston University, School of Business Administration. He enjoyed a 30 year career as Vice President of Corporate Finance with Prudential Insurance. During retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family, going out to dinner with friends, photography, cruises to Bermuda, summers at the beach. He was a huge fan of the Red Sox and the Patriots. He adored his grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte 139) in Marshfield. Funeral from the funeral home on Thursday, February 25, at 9:00 for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield.
