Baker, Herbert W. of Marshfield, passed away on February 14 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Ruth Baker. Dear brother of George Baker and his wife Marie and the late Robert Baker and John Baker. Dear son of the late George and Mary (Griffin) Baker. Also survived by nieces and nephews Richard Southworth, Steven Southworth, Kimberly Shanley, Marjorie Costa and James M. Carmark. Herbert was born in Boston and raised in Milton before moving to Marshfield in 1976. He graduated from St. Michaels College. Herbert served in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked as the regional manager for Paramount Pictures. A visiting will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte 139 in Marshfield on Saturday, February 28 at 10:00 a.m., words of remembrance will be at 10:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
