Irene (Nalezny) Putnam of Marshfield, MA passed away on September 3, 2013 at the age of 82, at the home she lived in with her daughter and son-in-law after battling Alzheimer's for the last 10 years. Loving mother of Karen (Putnam) Ryan and her husband Dates Ryan of Marshfield, MA. Also survived by her son Michael Putnam of Ilion, NY. Dear grandmother of Alex Putnam of Ilion, NY. Sister of the late Teresa (Nalezny) Brooks. Sister in law of Alfred E. Brooks ?Barney? of Ilion, NY. Aunt of Susan (Brooks) Hubregeson of Southbury, CT and the late Jill Brooks. Irene was a member of the Ilion Garden Club and the Ilion Hospital Guild. Services will be private. Irene was known for her inner beauty and strength.
