Reicher, Jacob M. of Bridgewater, passed away on December 30 at the age of 81. Born on July 5, 1933 in Osseo, Wisconsin to Matthias and Regina (Roth) Reicher. Jacob was raised in Minnesota and attended Cretin High School in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was a Sergeant in the US Army, honorably discharged on March 31, 1961. Jacob took many college courses beyond high school. He was a former employee of Dymo Corporation and Supervisor at Brookfield Engineering. Jacob lived in Marshfield, MA for approximately 25 years and Bridgewater, MA for the past 20 years.

Dear Husband of Beatrice (Soto) Reicher of Bridgewater. Dear father of Mary Noble and her husband Scott of Mesa, AZ, Margaret Lougee of Duxbury, MA, Denise Reicher of Burlington, MA, Eric Reicher and his wife Jayne of Windham, NH, and April Davis of Chester, NH. Loving grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Brother of Ann (Reicher) Bos of MN. Jacob enjoyed CB radio and Jaycees, automobiles, reading, coin collecting, computers and his iPad.

Visiting hours will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Thursday January 1 from 2 to 6 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Friday, January 2 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann by the Sea Church, 591 Ocean St. in Marshfield at 11:00 a.m.
