Jacqueline A. Switzer, 68, of Plymouth, passed unexpectedly over the Christmas holiday in the loving care of her children. Widow to Richard W. Switzer. Devoted mother to Rebecca Marani of Duxbury and Richard L. Switzer and his wife Donna of Haverhill. Cherished grandmother of Macy and Will Marani. Beloved daughter of Henrietta J. Kreiser of Duxbury and sister to Louis Jacobelli of West Virginia. Dearest friend to Michael Santilli of Kingston. She is also survived by many special friends and relatives, including Anne Manna of New Jersey.
Jacqueline was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and became a lifelong resident of Plymouth, where she raised her family and held a forty-year career as a registered nurse. A graduate of Brigham & Women's and St. Joseph's College of Maine, Jacqueline dedicated her life to compassionately caring for others.
Visiting hours will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139, Marshfield on Monday, January 4, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a brief memorial service.
