Bartels, James L. of Marshfield, passed away on January 14, 2013 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Doris Bartels. Loving father of Janelle Miller of Marshfield and James Bartels and his wife Susan of Pembroke. Loving grandfather to 5 and great grandfather to 5. James was born and raised in Cambridge. He graduated from Hingham High School. James served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked for South Shore Heating and Air Conditioning. A Memorial Service will be held in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 17 Church St. in Hanover on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. A private interment will be held in the MA National Cemetery in Bourne.
