James Dobson, 54, of Marshfield MA, tragically passed away on July 5, 2023. The cause of death is unknown; however, he thankfully died peacefully in his sleep.

James was born in1969 and lived quite the crazy lifestyle. He went through a lot in his life but always found his way. Through his mistakes he shared knowledge so that others could prosper.

After years of fighting for a way out of a seemingly never-ending struggle, James spent his days working as a roofer. He was as strong as an ox and was dedicated to his craft.

James went on to raise three strong men who will carry on his will, demeanor, and life lessons. Their names are Michael Martin, Josh Martin, and Cameron Dobson.

In James' final years he truly turned his life around, looking to bring together a family who had drifted apart. He studied to be a drug coach at UMASS Boston and found a new way to help others. James was the ultimate protector who would do anything for family & friends. His heart was true and full and had an impact on countless individuals.

James is survived by his brothers Steve & Troy, his sisters Robin & Stephanie, his niece Rylie, & his 3 sons.

Services will be held at the MacDonald Funeral home in Marshfield MA on July 19, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
