Haddad, James of Marshfield, suddenly on June 2 at the age of 61. Dear son of the late Hallem and Najla (Maloof) Haddad. Brother of Louis Haddad and his wife Linda of Port St. Lucie, FL and Richard Haddad of Marshfield. Also survived by many adoring relatives and friends.
James was a lifelong resident of Marshfield and graduated from Marshfield High School, class of 1971. After graduating from college, he worked for United States Postal Service for 25 years; working in Scituate as a carrier for two years before becoming a Senior Clerk at the Green Harbor Post Office 02041. All of Jim's 25 years with the USPS were spent alongside Post Master George Leaver; he said he would retire when George retires. Jim was an elected member of the Marshfield Board of Assessor's and was reelected to his 10th 3 year term on May 2, 2015. Jim spent the past 13 years as Chairman of that board. Jim was the former owner of Charlie's in Brant Rock for 7 years. He was also a math teacher at Quincy Junior College.
A Funeral Service will be held in St. George Orthodox Church, 55 Emmonsdale Rd., West Roxbury, MA, 02132 on Monday, June 8, at 11:00 a.m. followed by a graveside service in Winslow Cemetery, Marshfield at 1:00 p.m.
