James A. Keough, a long-time resident of Marshfield, passed away on December 30, 2020 surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Patricia (Malone) Keough; loving father of Kathleen Keough of Marshfield, Coleen Keough of Brockton, James Keough and his husband Matthew of California, and Timothy Keough of California; cherished grandfather of Johnathan, Alyssa, and Kailee; dear brother of Michael and Daniel Keough; son of the late James and Catherine (Davin) Keough.

Originally From Dorchester and a graduate of Dorchester High School, Jimmy was a soft spoken man of few words, but no man took more pride in who he was; a Marine, a Bostonian, a descendent of Irish immigrants, and a Teamster. He was a proud Dad who worked hard to take his family to Disney World. Upon retiring, Jimmy enjoyed nothing more than traveling with his family and often visiting his boys in California. He had a passionate love of animals that he passed on to his children. His love for music lasted through his final days, singing with family and friends. Love you always Jimmy, Dad, Grampy.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. The Funeral Mass will be on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ann by the Sea Parish Church, 591 Ocean Street in Marshfield.
