LaBate, James P. Jr. of Marshfield, formerly of Cambridge and Brockton, died March 30, 20ll at the age of 56. Beloved husband of Tina L. Smith, dear father of Alison of Plymouth, Nicole and Victoria of Carver. Loving son of Nancy Synco and her husband John of Oklahoma. Brother of Bruce of Marshfield and Anthony of Baltimore. James was born in Brockton. He was a member of Bricklayers Local #3. James was an artist and a former pastry chef at The Union Oyster House in Boston.
