James M. "Michael" Ahearn, 70 of Marshfield, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on December 28, 2020. Beloved husband of Virginia (Connor) Ahearn of Marshfield; devoted father of Erin Tierney and her husband Michael (BFD) of Hyde Park, Sean Ahearn of Marshfield, and the late Elizabeth "Lizzie" Ahearn; cherished grandfather of Frankie Tierney. Son of the late Raymond C. and Madeline E. (Welch) Ahearn, he was the dear brother of Sheila Gironeman and her husband Nate of Colorado, JoEllen Lattuada and her husband Daniel of Florida, Maryellen Ahearn of Florida, and the late William "Billy" Ahearn of Abington and Francis "Frank" Ahearn of Quincy. He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Michael was raised in Abington. After graduating high school he joined the Marine Corps and continued his education at Bentley College and Anna Maria College, where he received his Master's Degree in Business. He was a long-time employee and Chief Financial Officer for Cybex, International.

Michael loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson Frankie. He loved a good round of golf with Sean and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be private.
