James Michael Berrio, Sr., of Brant Rock/Marshfield, passed away on March 20, 2018 at the age of 68. Beloved father of Koren Berrio of Amherst and James M. Berrio, Jr. and his wife Natasha of Carver; grandfather of Phineas Buchanan. James is predeceased by a brother John A. Berrio and a sister, Laurel Berrio. He leaves siblings Linda Disabatino and her husband Peter of Marshfield and Edward Berrio, Sr., and his wife Sheryl of Halifax, and nephews Zach, Eddie Jr., and John (Liz).

Jimmy was born in Waltham to the late John J. and Virginia (Velardo) Berrio. The family summered in the Brant Rock section of Marshfield for 12 years until becoming full time residents. Jimmy never left after that, and Brant Rock became home. He was an auto mechanic, sport fisherman, and a gourmet cook, and was very passionate about Boston sports specifically the Red Sox and Celtics.

Everyone was Jimmy's brother. He loved being surrounded by family and family meant everything to him. Jimmy will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
