James P. Wall of W. Yarmouth passed away on March 16, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Anna (McCarthy) Wall, he was the loving father of Brendan Wall and Patrick Wall and his wife Michelle, and cherished grandfather of Owen, Reese, Lily and Jack. Son of the late Harold and Loretta (Hayes) Wall and brother of the late Joan Fuoco and Thomas Wall, he leaves a brother, David Wall of Florida.

Jim grew up in Hyde Park and settled in Abington for years before moving to the Cape. He enjoyed spending his free time on Cape Cod with family and friends. Often you could find him tossing tennis balls to his beloved dogs, tending to his plants and garden, or tailgating at Patriots games. He was an avid pool player and spent many years competing on local pool teams.

Jim was a family man at heart. You could not find a more quintessential "Papa", and he always showed up with pockets full of candy to sneak to his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. Jim will be laid to rest with a Graveside Service in the Couch Cemetery, Union Street in Marshfield, on Tuesday, March 22 at 11:00 a.m.
