James "Jim" Davis #Grampy, of Pembroke, formerly of Dorchester, passed away peacefully at home with his family on July 25, 2018 at the age of 87. Loving husband of late Carol Davis (Dunphy), father of Deborah Sullivan, Cherly Pait, Kathleen Flynn and Jimmy Davis, loving Grampy of 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Jim was a retired U.S. Post Office Letter Carrier and a proud U.S. Army veteran. He was a great story teller, loyal Boston sports fan, and an avid reader. A long-standing member of the Marshfield Lodge Elks Lodge, Jim enjoyed his Saturday card games and a good Manhattan. He was loved and will be missed greatly.
