Costello, Jane Ellen, of Marshfield, passed away on September 2, 2016 at the age of 66. Jane leaves a cousin, Jackie Brophy of Randolph, her best friend Rosemary Madden of Duxbury, dear friend Fr. Tom DiLorenzo of Winthrop, and many other friends. Jane was a beautician and former owner of Jane's Beauty Nook in Brant Rock.

Jane enjoyed hairdressing with a passion for making women look their very best. She enjoyed dining with and the company of her friends. Jane was always concerned for the well being of others and prayed for people constantly. She was totally devoted to the Blessed Mother and was a very dedicated and enthusiastic singer in the adult choir at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish in Marshfield. Music was her second love, and her first love was studying scripture to aide and admonish others to look to Jesus in their time of need. Donations in Jane's memory can be made to the Ministry of Fr. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield. Interment will be in Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.
