Phillips, Jane A (Peluso), of Marshfield, passed away on March 6 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of the late Daniel Phillips. Dear mother of Janet Freiheit and her husband Michael of Greenwich CT, Linda McNamara of Hawaii, and Daniel Phillips of Hawaii. Also survived by grandchildren Jack, Jessica, Charles, and Juliet Freiheit. Dear sister of Diane Peluso, of Marshfield, Jane is also survived by her niece Susan Cheverie, great nephew Anthony and great niece Ashley. Former spouse of Leo Entwistle. She was predeceased by her loving friend George Hogan.
Jane was born in West Roxbury and later moved to Marshfield. She graduated from St. Aidan's High School in Brookline and attended Boston State College. Jane was employed by Citizen's Bank and Scituate Federal Savings Bank. She was a Deacon at the First Congregational Church of Marshfield and a Life Member of the Marshfield Yacht Club.
Jane was loved and adored by all who had the opportunity to share her life. Her compassion, devotion, sense of humor, and grace will be profoundly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14 at 11:00AM at the First Congregational Church, 1981Ocean Street, Marshfield. Donations in Jane's memory can be made to the Hospice of the South Shore, 55 Fogg Rd, South Weymouth, MA 02190
