Jane M. (Weitz) Walker, of Marshfield, MA died peacefully at home on Thursday February 26, 2015.
Born in Roxbury and raised in Dorchester, daughter of the late Catherine (Fay) Weitz and Frank A. Weitz she was a 37 year resident of Marshfield's Rexhame neighborhood.
Pre-deceased in 2003 by the love of her life, Richard J. Walker, Jane is survived by her daughter Catherine of Dorchester, son Anthony of Quincy, daughters-in-law Angela Walker of Quincy and Cass Walker of New Hampshire. Jane also was the mother of the late Richard J. Walker, Jr. Her legacy lives on with her nine beloved grandchildren – Nikomo Peartree, Aisling Peartree, Michaela Walker, Bethany Walker, Alicia Walker, Nolan Walker, Alec Walker, Lydia Walker and Emma Walker – and the friends, family and acquaintances she touched throughout her life.
Please join the family for visitation Sunday March 8 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at The MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean Street Marshfield, MA. A brief memorial service will follow at the funeral home. Private burial will be at a later date.
