Clark, Janet M. (Kadra), of Marshfield, passed away at home on January 29, 2017 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Edward Clark, Janet leaves her children David Clark and his wife Helen, Laure Clark, and Paula Allen and her husband John; grandchildren Amanda, Victoria, Aaron, and Heather; great-grandchildren Alani and Malakai; and sister's Marylee  Mulvey and Jessie Reynolds.  She is predeceased by a sister, Norma, and brother's Peter and Alan.

Janet was born in Boston on November 28, 1933, to Peter and Anne Kadra.  She grew up in Mission Hill and attended Mission High School.  In 1959, she married Edward "Buddy" Clark and they spent 43 wonderful years together raising their children and grandchildren.

Janet's home was always open.  Her hospitality and loving ways endeared her to neighbors and earned her a special place in the hearts of her children's friends. She loved bingo nights with the girls and jaunts to the casino to play the slots.  She maintained her faith in God and her sense of humor, despite a long illness.  Her daughter Paula and son-in-law John devoted themselves to filling her last months with love and laugher.

Perhaps they are not the stars,

But rather openings in heaven where

The love of our lost ones pours through

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield.  Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at a later date.
