Janet T. Colwell-Popp, of Marshfield, passed away on June 3, 2017 at the age of 69. Janet is the beloved wife of Charles J. Popp Jr. and dear mother of Charles J. Popp III and his wife Karen of Brighton, Stephen J. Popp and his late wife, Pamela of Newcastle, Maine, Kenneth J. Popp and his wife Barbara, David M. Popp and his wife Laura, and John F. Popp and his wife Cynthia, all of Natick. Grandmother of Jerome, Charles, Nicole, Christopher, Nicholas, Justin, Samantha, David, Christian, Alexander, and Anthony. Janet is predeceased by her brother Edward and twin brother James Colwell, but leaves her sisters, Sister Judith Colwell SND, and Linda Daniell, and her nieces, Jean-Marie, Terri, Kim, Tracy, and Linda.

Janet graduated from Northeastern University and was an MIT Police Sergeant, but the role she enjoyed the most was being a Grandmother and Aunt; all of her kids have special memories of time at the beach.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) Marshfield. Funeral procession from the funeral home on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. for a Funeral Mass to be held at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ann by the Sea Church, 591 Ocean Street, Marshfield.
