Janet K. Liebeskind of Marshfield passed away peacefully on July 20th at the age of 78. She is survived by her beloved husband Joseph Galgana, brother Donald Kerr, son Andrew Liebeskind, and stepchildren Susan Liebeskind, Amy Schultz, Joseph A. Galgana, Kim Kelly, and Dana Galgana, as well as nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends by the score.

She grew up in Baltimore, MD and graduated from Goucher College with a BA in English. In her younger days, she travelled the world exploring Europe, SCUBA diving with sharks on the Great Barrier Reef, and surviving the sinking of her dive boat in Belize while exploring the Great Blue Hole. She was a great traveler by land, air or sea, and loved fishing and navigating a fishing boat with her husband Joe. She was a longtime resident of Marshfield with deep family roots in the town and was for many years an active and lively participant in Town Meetings.

A memorial service will be held at Cedar Grove Cemetery on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.  All are welcome.
