Farias, Jason J., of Dorchester, formerly of Marshfield, passed away on November 15, 2016 at the age of 29. Jason is the beloved son of Christopher D. Farias of Duxbury and Laurie A. Newman of Walpole; stepson of Valri Fountain of Duxbury; dear brother of Justin Farias of South Boston and Thomas Farias, Matthew Farias, and Serena Farias, all of Duxbury. Jason leaves his grandfather, Douglas Newman and grandmother, Nancy Farias as well as many aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends. He is predeceased by his grandmother, the late Helen Newman and grandfather, the late Joseph Farias.

Jason was a graduate of Marshfield High School and worked as a Football Coach with the American Football League in Europe for 2 years, one year with Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, and also coached the Women's Pro Football League. Jason was also a Personal Trainer at Boston Sports Club and the Cambridge Athletic Club.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury, MA.
