Wry, Jean C., (Tufts) of Marshfield, passed away on March 19, 2016 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of the late Thomas W. Wry. Loving mother of Lynda Jean Nomani of Pembroke, Thomas E. Wry of Florida, Kathleen S. Wry of Scituate, Robert E. Wry of Bridgewater, and Nicole M. Daniels of Pembroke and her extended children, Catherine Callahan of Duxbury and Jennifer Guiducci of Bridgewater. Dear nana of Molly, Johnny, Brianna, Anthony, Ginny, Tom Jr., Mark, Anthony, Vincent, Shaaz, Shania, Alex, and Angie, and great grandson Brody. Jean also leaves a sister Judith Tufts.
Jean was a wife, a mother, a grandmother and a sister, but she was also a poet, a comedian, a friend, a cancer survivor, an amazing seamstress and hard worker working much of her life as a Lead Assembler making parts for rockets. Jean loved to travel. Her absolute favorite place to visit was Disney World so she could see Mickey Mouse where she went 19 times many of them without children in tow. Her last Disney trip was in 2014 where she joined her twin grandchildren, Molly and Johnny and her daughter, Nicole for a road trip across the country to Disney in a Prius, with her oxygen tank and Mickey wallet ready to take on Disney one last time.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) Marshfield. Interment will be in Couch Cemetery.
