Downey, Jeanne T. (Donoghue), of Marshfield, died August 14, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of John "Jack" Downey of Marshfield. Loving mother of Kathleen Downey McCauley and her life partner John Burton of East Boston, Elizabeth "Beth" Downey of Florida, Sharon Hasrouni and her husband Nabil of Roslindale and Jeanne-Marie Van Hemmen and her husband Pim of Fair Haven, NJ. Dear grandmother of Kathleen "Maddie" McCauley, Fianna Fluess, Helena Van Hemmen, Kees Van Hemmen. Jeanne was an award winning Educator and Artist.

Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St. Rte 139 in Marshfield on Monday August 17, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday, August 18, at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal St., Marshfield at 11:00 a.m.
