Greene, Jeanne (Foley), age 83, of Kingston, formerly of Marshfield, Quincy, and Roxbury, Feb. l0, after a brief illness. Beloved wife of 60 years to Joseph F. Greene. Loving mother of Joanne and her husband Kenneth Jesse of Carver, Kathleen and her husband Paul Fanning of Hanover, Jacqueline Montilio of Marshfield, Joseph D. Greene and wife Dana of Londonderry, NH, and Brian Greene of Quincy. Dear grandmother of Megan and Andrew Jesse, Molly and Peter Fanning; Mark, Benjamin, and Michelle Montilio, Joseph and Genevieve Greene, and Brianna Femen. Jeanne was employed by the Quincy School System and Bank of Boston/Bank of America. She graduated from Quincy Junior College and was a l990 Cum Laude Graduate of Harvard University. Jeanne was a published poet. She was a Notary Public for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Past President of St. Mary's Guild in West Quincy, a member of St. Christine's Choir where she was also a cantor, a member of Cyril P. Morrisette Post No. 294 Auxiliary and the Daniel Webster VFW Post Auxiliary. Jeanne loved singing, music and the company of her friends. She was the happiest when she was with her family sharing her love with her children and grandchildren. Jeanne was an avid sports fan who faithfully followed her beloved Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots. Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home, l755 Ocean St., rte. l39, Marshfield on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Christine's Church, l295 Main St., Marshfield at l0 a.m. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be on Sunday from 2 to 6.
