Jeffrey Hewitt, 59 years old, died of a cardiac arrest on December 23rd at his home in Marshfield, MA. His eclectic career included work as a writer, nurse, lawyer, activist, and visual artist. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He is survived by two children, Reine and Tristram Hewitt; his mother, Emmy Lou Hewitt; his four siblings, Robert, Bill, Lee, and Charles Hewitt; and his granddaughter, Leda. A memorial service will be held on January 8th at 1 pm in the First Parish Church, 842 Tremont St. Duxbury, MA.
