Joan Marie Gunn, aged 66, of Freeport, NY, died June 1, 2013 in Marshfield, MA. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and has been a resident of Marshfield for the past year where she bravely fought her cancer. She lived for many years in Freeport where she taught elementary school. Ms. Gunn was preceded in death by her parents, Kathleen and Michael J. Gunn, a brother, Michael and a sister Kathleen Modick. She is survived by brothers Richard Gunn of Marshfield, MA and Robert Gunn of Chapel Hill, NC and many nieces and nephews. A private graveside is planned.
