Joan A. (McGinty) Kerrigan of Marshfield passed away on March 6, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Wife of William F. Kerrigan and loving mother to William T. Kerrigan and his wife Danielle Kerrigan, Jessica Fisher, Caitlin Kerrigan, and Michael Kerrigan and partner Julie Shea. Joan, "Jojo" was the cherished grandmother of William M. Kerrigan and Lucas Fisher. Joan was the daughter of the late William and Anna McGinty of Boston.

Joan lived her life as a passionate registered nurse, altruistic friend and extraordinary mother. She was a life member at the Marshfield Yacht Club where she enjoyed boating with her children when they were young. Joan's favorite thing was spending time with and spoiling her two grandsons Billy and Lucas. As a devout Catholic she loved Jesus and spread faith, love, joy and kindness in and throughout her life.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 9:00am to 10:30 a.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. The Funeral Mass will immediately follow on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann by the Sea, 587 Ocean Street in Marshfield with the procession traveling by the seawall, one of Joan's favorite spots, for a final goodbye. A Celebration of Life luncheon will directly follow at Haddad's Ocean Cafe.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider a donation to the Project OVAT, online at Project OVAT/Veteran Non-Profit Veterans who are assisted by Project OVAT will not have the burden of bills, costs or fees commonly associated with their fight for what they have earned and deserve.
