McCurdy, Joan F. (Keefe), 77 of Humarock, February 4, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Richard McCurdy. Sister of John Keefe and his wife Candace of Marshfield. Loving aunt of Amy Leonard and her husband Stephen of Marshfield, Artie Stadnik of Whitman, Michael Stadnik of North Carolina and Melissa Mahoney and her husband Kjeld of Marshfield. Great Aunt of Alanna, Magnus and Mason Leonard and Kira Mahoney. Joan taught at the South River School in Marshfield from 1963 to 1997. She was born in Cambridge, MA to Thomas and Katherine (Stanley) Keefe. She spent every summer in the Humarock and Marshfield area. Her parents camped on 4th Cliff in Humarock and she joined them in 1937. When Richard and Joan married in 1975 they purchased a house in Humarock, they loved to travel and did so frequently. A Graveside service will be held on Monday May 11, 2015 in the Cedar Grove Cemetery Marshfield at 11:00 am Memorial gifts in Joan's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
