After a long, hard fought battle, Joan Marie (Casey) Sarno of Marshfield passed away on October 17 at the age of 83. Daughter of the late Mary and Tom Casey. Adoring wife of Almerindo Sarno. Devoted mother to Joanne Sarno Smith and her husband Steve of Bourne, Thomas Sarno and his wife Jean of Foxboro, Marytheresa Sarno Lee and her husband Timothy of Norton, Maureen Sarno Edwards and her late husband Joseph of Marshfield, and Matthew Sarno of Plymouth. Sister of the late Mary MacAlerney. Most amazing grandmother to Casey Sarno, Michelle, Hannah, and Johnmichael Lee, Mikayla and Patrick Edwards, and Almerindo and Julianna Sarno.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield. Funeral procession from the funeral home on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield.
