Cassidy, Joanne M. (Marshall) of Marshfield January 4, 2016. Beloved wife of Robert F. Cassidy. Loving mother of Paul Cassidy and his wife Theresa of Marshfield, Dee Hanrahan and her husband Mike of Marshfield, Lee Ann Rogers of Florida and the late Robert "Bobby" Cassidy. Grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Daughter of the late John and Ruth Marshall. Sister of Marie Curley of Braintree and the late Jack Marshall. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Joanne was raised in Holbrook and was a graduate of Archbishop Williams High School. Joanne moved to Marshfield in 1973, she was one of the first organizers of the Marshfield Girls Softball League and became President of the organization. During the summer months Joanne would report the Girls Softball summary every Sunday night on WATD. Joanne loved seeing her grandchildren and loved taking the Train to Florida to visit. She loved the Boston Celtics, the Red Sox, cake decorating and reading.
