John J. Costello, III

John J. Costello III (Jack), 67, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 after battling a brief illness.

Originally from Marshfield, Jack spent most of his life living in Plymouth. Jack is survived by his two children, Caitlyn McGrath (Costello) and John Costello IV. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lisa M. Costello. Jack also leaves behind siblings Beth Gray of Marshfield, Carol McNamara of Hull, Matthew Costello of Weymouth and (late) Micheal Costello of Marshfield. Along with nieces, nephews and many other loved ones and family members.

Jack enjoyed photography, particularly landscapes with history. He had a longtime interest in basketball, from playing in his younger years to following the game later in life. Jack was always finding new hobbies to explore. Above all he valued the time spent with his children.

Family and friends are invited to join us at The Venus II on Saturday, October 24th from 11-3 for a Celebration of Life reception.
