John David Crockett (69), of Pembroke, passed away unexpectedly on April 25th, 2021, returning home to his beloved companion, the late Joy Gill of Marshfield. John was born in Weymouth, MA on October 02, 1951 to the late Ernest B. and Norma H. Crockett. A graduate of Silver Lake Regional High School '69, John served in the U.S. Navy. John later went on to complete coursework through the Northeast Institute of Industrial Technology '73, beginning his lifelong passion as a Jack-of-all-trades. John was an avid cat lover, traveler, hunter, and friend to many.

John is survived by his feline companion, Autumn; siblings Mark N. Crockett of Plympton, MA, Susan H. Smith of Cumberland, ME, Ernest B. Crockett, Jr. of Martinsburg, WV, and Michael A. Crockett of Greensboro, NC, and their respective families. John is predeceased by his brother Robert P. Crockett.

A private ceremony will be held at Bourne National Cemetery for immediate family on Friday, May 7, 2021. A memorial gathering will be announced at a later date.
