Davis, John M., of Marshfield, passed away on February 27, 2016 at the age of 49.

Beloved son of William and Florence (Ryer) Davis. Dear brother of Joan and Gregory Fall of Milton, Ellen and John Murphy of Sandwich, Florence and Michael Anderson of New York, William Davis of Marshfield, Robert Davis of Waltham, Paul and Deborah Davis of Wareham, and Stephen Davis of Maine. Relative of the late Monsignor Robert Ryer, John is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

John was a lifelong resident of Marshfield and a client of the Road to Responsibility for 30 years and was a recipient of the Corey Kent Award. He was a gentle soul who was well liked by everyone he met, and loved dearly by his family.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday March 2, 2016, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) Marshfield. Funeral from the funeral home Thursday, March 3, at 9:00 for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Ann by the Sea Church, 591 Ocean Street, Marshfield. Interment will be in Couch Cemetery.
