Obituary

John E. Dronzek, of Scituate, passed away on October 11, 2019 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Karen Dronzek; loving father of Jeannette Dronzek of Marshfield, the late Richard Dronzek, and the late John K. Dronzek; cherished grandfather of Noah, Jonah, Celia, and Jemma; dear brother of Henry Dronzek, the late Walter Dronzek, and the late Irene Kent. John also leaves many nieces and nephews.

John worked as an accountant, Treasurer, collector for Keefe Tech High School and Vice president of Thomson National Press in Franklin. He gave 30 years of service in the town of Medway, serving as Selectman, on the board of assessors and the Tri-County sewer commission. He served as a lector at both St Joseph's parish in Medway and St. Christine's parish in Marshfield. Humarock was his favorite home. He devoted 55 years to his loving wife Karen. He will be greatly missed by his daughter and grandchildren.

Visitation on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield will conclude with a Funeral procession to St. Christine Parish Church, 1295 Main Street in Marshfield, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Couch Cemetery.
