Hall, John A.., of Rockland, passed away on January 7, 2016, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 63. Devoted husband of Judith Hall and dear father of Shawn Hall and Kyle Hall, all of Rockland. Doting grandfather of James Hall. John was predeceased by his sister, Derry Petrucci, and his beloved dog, Tina.

John was employed as a Maintenance Foreman for the Good Humor Breyer's Ice Cream Company in Framingham for 32 years. He loved camping and working on his hot rods in the garage, but loved nothing more than spending time with his family, especially his grandson James. John was a big man with an even bigger heart – he will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte 139) in Marshfield. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Weymouth.
