John F. "Jack" Hapenney, of Marshfield, passed away on May 20, 2019 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Joyce (Hebb) Hapenney; dear father of John F. Hapenney, Jr. and his late wife Ping of Quincy, Donna Day of Marshfield, Carol Gray and her husband Steve of Marlboro, and David Hapenney and his wife Miyun of California. John leaves his grandchildren Nicole, Rachael, Jill, Phillip, Nathan, Paige, Ryan, Stephen, Jordan, Olivia, Matthew, Jeremy, Jewel and 9 great-grandchildren.

Jack was born in Dedham to the late Arthur and Edna (MacMahon) Hapenney and was a Korean War era Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked as a Manager with Boston Edison until his retirement. Jack loved to dance. He spent his retirement years in Marshfield and Florida.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Christine Parish Church, 1295 Main Street, Marshfield MA. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Couch Cemetery.
