John J. "Jay" Lydon, of Marshfield, passed away suddenly on March 4, 2019 at the age of 63. Jay leaves the love of his life, Cathy Watson of Marshfield, his sister Joan Raspa and her husband William of Florida, brothers Daniel Lydon Sr. of Carver and Brian Lydon and his wife Sandy of Colorado, and several nieces and nephews.
Jay lived life to the fullest. He loved his friends like they were his brothers. He was an avid sports fan who loved his Boston teams and always wore a Boston team cap.
Jay was truly dedicated in his field and took great pride in his work as a Project Manager and Grade 7 Wastewater Treatment Operator for Clean Harbors for over 20 years. Prior to that he worked for Decas Cranberry in Carver and also for Severn Trent in Arizona.
Jay was always quick witted, always had a joke, and was just fun to be around. He will be greatly missed, especially by his beloved dog, Max.
