Mammone, John, of Marshfield, passed away on September 3, 2015 at the age of 70. Beloved and devoted husband of 47 years to Arline F. (Moore) Mammone. Dear father of John Mammone and his wife Suzanne of Marshfield and Adam Mammone and his wife Irene of Boston. Beloved Grandpa to Madeline and Andrew. John is predeceased by his brother Joseph Mammone and sister Anita Fata, but leaves a sister Phylis Mascaro of Medfield, a brother Richard Mammone of Beverly, and many nieces and nephews.

Born in Boston to the late John and Angela (Poncia) Mammone, John was employed as a Test Board Operator for Verizon and was a member of IBEW Local 2222. A loving and devoted family man, John truly was the "Big Deal" in all their lives. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Rte 139 in Marshfield. Funeral from the funeral home will be at 8:45 AM Wednesday, September 9, for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont Street, Duxbury. Interment will be at Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury.
