John M. Pavidis, 84 of Marshfield, died Sunday Jan 30 ^th after a long illness. He was surrounded by his family. He was born in South Boston to John B. Pavidis and Mary Kurgan on Feb 3 ^rd 1937. He was the loving brother of the late Phyllis Pearl. He leaves behind his beloved wife Jean (Lynch) and his children Phyllis (Ray) Garcia, of Marshfield and Suzanne (Thomas) Kearns of Canton and John Pavidis, Jr. of Marshfield, and his grandchildren Eric, Brent, Jared, Jacob Garcia and Caroline Kearns. He was close to his nephew Michael and his cousin Skip, many nephews and nieces, and his Grand cat Jimmy.

John owned and operated his locksmith business, Associated Key & Lock in Plymouth.  John loved working on cars, woodworking, and was member of the Marshfield Rod and Gun club. John received wonderful care from South Shore Hospice. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation to them, by mail to 30 Reservoir Park Drive, Rockland MA 02370.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Christine Parish Church, 1295 Main Street (Rte. 3A) in Marshfield. Family and friends are welcome to attend all services. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Marshfield.
