Cerra, Joseph S., of Lehigh Acres, Florida, formerly of Scituate, passed away on September 24, 2016 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of the late Helen E. Cerra. Loving father of Carol Castagnetti of Pembroke, Joseph Cerra, Jr. of W. Palm Beach, Florida, Paul Cerra and his wife Melissa of Hanson, and Richard Cerra of Lehigh Acres, Florida. Dear grandfather of Lisa, Dawn, Michael, Anthony, Daniel, Michelle, Kelley, Jessica and the late Joshua, and great grandfather to 13 great-grandchildren.

Joe was a dedicated member of the Rotary Club for over 35 years. He also was active in the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors and the USS Constitution Model Shipwright Guild, Inc.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield. Funeral procession from the funeral home on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 14 Edward Foster Road, Scituate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
