Clinton, Joseph M., of Marshfield, passed away on February 10, 2017 at the age of 64.  Beloved husband of the late Deborah A. (Droukas) Clinton, Joe is the dear brother of Madeleine Spadea of Revere, Laurence Clinton and his wife Joyce of Marshfield, Daniel Clinton of Dedham, Timothy Clinton and his wife Carol of Scituate, Ann Aschiero and her husband Carl of Taunton, Brian Clinton of Portland, ME, and the late Susan Eaton and John L. Clinton.  Joe also leaves a sister in-law, Denece Clinton of Duxbury, and many nieces and nephews.

Joseph was a loving brother, a loyal friend, and a gentle soul. He was a proud member of the Marshfield DAV and a long standing member of Local 12. Joe was an avid reader, especially of history, and he enjoyed gardening, traveling, and many outdoor activities

Joe leaves behind his best friend "Clementine" and his family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Marshfield Animal Shelter, 156 Claypit Road, Marshfield MA 02050.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield.  Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at a later date.
