Matthews III and his wife Bonnie of Marshfield, James E. Matthews and his wife Patricia of St. Louis, MO and Kevin T. Matthews of Martinez, GA. Loving grandfather of Steven, Jennifer, Ryan and James ?Jay? Matthews. Loving great grandfather of Kayleigh Matthews. Brother of the late Kathleen Matthews. Joseph retired from B.L. Makepeace where he worked in the converting room. He also worked at Pembroke Gulf gas station for more than 30 years. Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St. Rte 139, Marshfield on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, October 4 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Union Cemetery in Scituate.
