Judith (Banner) Butler, 69, of Marshfield, died December 11, 2018 after suffering a fall. She leaves her son Jason Hamblen and his wife Robin (Blanchette) of Jaffrey, NH, her grandchildren Megan, Ian, and Georgina Hamblen, her sisters Doreen Jones of Marshfield, her twin sister Jane Banner of Maynard, and Polly McWilliams of Phillips, ME; and her brothers Ian and his wife Julie (Labo) Banner of Lawrenceburg, KY and Clif and his wife Linda (Laine) Banner of Nashua, NH. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She is the daughter of the late Earl D. and Moyra D. (Campton) Banner of Marshfield, and is predeceased by siblings Joan, Connie, and Dave.
As a student, Judy excelled in science, math, biology, band, and chorus, as well as basketball, field hockey, softball and tennis. She attended Quincy (Junior) College and earned a degree from Massasoit Community College. She was a Rainbow Girl in her teen years.
Visiting hours on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, will conclude with a Funeral Service at Noon at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield. Burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Christ Church Parish, 149 Court Street, Plymouth, MA 02360, for watching over Judy in their prayers for so many years.
