Judith Ann Chesley, born on September 8, 1943 and a longtime resident of Chatham, MA passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

Born in Dorchester, MA, Judy was the daughter of Clifton Howard McAuley and Eleanor Frances Marino. She graduated from Dorchester High School and enjoyed a career as the business manager for Bathtub Beauty, a company she helped found.  Later while a resident of Chatham, she was a member of the First Congregational Church of Chatham and served as the church secretary for years.

Judy is predeceased by her beloved husband of 35 years, Kenneth Chesley.  She is survived by her sons Michael Fritz Chorzewski and his wife Denise, Paul Stephen Chorzewski and his wife Judy, and Ronald Clifton Chorzewski and his wife Maria.  Also, she is survived by her three step-daughters Jill Iuculano, Mindy Chesley, and Lauren Chesley. Judy was blessed with 7 grandchildren; Joey, Matthew, Jess Anne, Will, Jaclyn, Kristen, and Kyle as well as her two great-grandchildren Bennet and Luke.

Judy's heart belonged to Chatham, where she enthusiastically embraced an active life filled with friendly competition and community spirit. From the bowling lanes to the pétanque court and even trying her hand at pickleball, she found joy in staying active and connecting with others. Her dedication to the town extended beyond recreation, as evidenced by her many years of volunteer service for the Chatham First Night celebrations. More than just an active member of the community, Judy will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, grandparent, sister, and aunt, whose presence enriched the lives of all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the MacDonald Funeral Home on 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield, MA. The visitation will end with a Christian Prayer Service starting at 4:00 PM.
