Julie Marie Woodford Fitzgerald passed away peacefully on September 3, 2026, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family at the Pat Roche Hospice House.

Proudly raised in Dorchester, Julie carried the spirit, heart, and strength of her roots throughout her entire life. She was a woman who knew how to find joy in the simple pleasures, like soaking up sunny days at the beach, gathering her family together, and savoring a good espresso martini with the people she loved most. Her warmth and vibrant presence made every occasion feel like a celebration.

Julie was reunited in peace with her beloved husband, Billy, her cherished mother and father, and her older brother, Dicky.

Her bright legacy lives on through those who meant the absolute world to her, including her son, Shayne, her daughter, Brittany, and son in law, Harry, her precious granddaughter, June, her brothers, Mark and Peter, her sister, Laurie, and her many beloved nieces and nephews.

In honor of Julie’s vibrant spirit, her family encourages all who knew her to celebrate her life by raising a glass, sharing a fond memory, and holding their loved ones a little closer.
