Karen June (Eddy) Perilli of Marshfield, MA formerly of Plymouth and Duxbury passed away on January 27, 2020 at the age of 63 at home surrounded by her loving family after succumbing to lung cancer. Karen was the daughter of the late William T. and Barbara (Miller) Eddy. Karen was the loving wife of Richard, mother of Justin and wife Julia Perilli of Hyde Park, Nathan Perilli and wife Therese Burns of Hayfork California, Paul Perilli and James Perilli of Marshfield. Loving grandmother of Paul Nathan Perilli and Ryleigh Marie LaChance, Karen also treasured their mother Manda Buckley. Sister of Marilyn and her husband Douglas Chadwick of Duxbury, and of William Eddy, Jr. of Kingston, MA, his partner Wendy Vincent, and his daughter Leah with whom Karen had an especially close relationship. Karen is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Over the years Karen and Richard mentored a revolving cast of 'Rent-A Kids' many of whom remain close to this day.
She was born in Plymouth and was raised in Duxbury where she was very active in the 4H club. Karen graduated from Duxbury High School and Johnson & Wales Culinary Institute. Cooking was a passion for Karen. She was well-known for the custom decorated cakes and pastries that she enjoyed making for every occasion. She loved to cook food for the Perilli clan, and enjoyed feeding anyone who happened to be visiting.
Karen doted on her grandson Paul and granddaughter Ryleigh, having enjoyed countless hours together making crafts and spending time relaxing by the pool.
Karen's compassionate nature led her to knit gubalinis and donate them to the radiology department at MGH, as well as to spend her time and talents helping many families in her community. Her husband and family have appreciated that she gave of herself; her humor and her love to all.
