Karen Winn of Marshfield passed away on April 22, 2024 at the age of 69. Karen was the beloved daughter of the late James and Lillian Winn and sister of the late Joan Dempsey, James Winn, Jr., and Kevin Winn. She is survived by her brother Brian Winn, her son James Ferguson of Marshfield and a granddaughter Hope Ferguson of Boca Raton FL.

Karen was raised in South Boston but spent summers and later permanently moved to Marshfield. She loved the beach and loved to travel with her girlfriends - they would party like rock stars. Mostly Karen just loved being with friends and family laughing, dancing, telling stories and playing games. She was a beautiful person with sometimes rough exterior but what we who loved her knew was a heart of pure gold.

Karen worked for many years with the Boston school police and later as a custodian with the Quincy public schools. She will be greatly missed by those of us lucky enough to have known her and loved her. God bless and keep you, Karen.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday May 3rd, 2024, at 10:00 AM in St. Ann by the Sea Parish Church, 591 Ocean Street in Marshfield.
