Katherine L. (Olsen) Duffy, 36, passed away suddenly at her home in Sandwich on February 9, 2021. Katie was the beloved wife of Ian Duffy and mother of Ian F. "Finn" Duffy, Irene F. "Frankie" Duffy, and Robert N. "Nate" Duffy; cherished daughter of Robert B. and Mary A. (Murray) Olsen of Marshfield; loving sister of Ryan R. Olsen of Germany; dear daughter in-law of James Duffy of Chicago and Nadja and George "Brad" Taylor of Franklin.

Katie was a vibrant free-spirit. She loved the beach. She was spontaneous and always down for a new adventure. She was endlessly energetic and the epitome of an extrovert. Her delightfully irreverent sense of humor, ability to talk to anyone about anything, and outgoing nature could pull anyone out of their shell, even her husband. She was also an incredibly kind and caring person.

Katie was planning to dedicate her life to helping others as she was working towards a Master's Degree in Education. She was a loving wife and caring mother. Her children were the center of her world and she always loved to take them on new adventures. She is, and will be, greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to call her a friend and a family member.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Church, 40 Canal Street in Marshfield.
