Dalzell, Kathleen L. (Butler), 66, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Sunday, July 9th after a courageous battle with cancer.  Kathy married her beloved husband Timothy Dalzell in 1971 and lived in Marshfield for more than 40 years before moving to Norwood in 2016.  She is mother to Christopher and his wife Miranda of Los Angeles, Laura and her husband Abid of San Francisco, and Michael and his wife Kate of Norwood.  She has four grandchildren, Catherine, John, Lucy and Benjamin with another granddaughter due to arrive in September.

Kathy will be remembered as a dedicated mother who always put her family first.  She was a loving soul with many friends and a family who adored her.  She enjoyed making others happy, either by preparing holiday meals, babysitting or simply by having a conversation.  After raising her children, she was thrilled to have the opportunity to travel, seeing many countries in Europe and Central America over the past 20 years.  Nothing gave her more joy than to spend time with her grandchildren, to whom she is known as "Grandma Happy".  They have always been perfect in her eyes.

Visiting hours will held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield.  Funeral procession from the funeral home on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 9:00 am for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Christine's Church, 1295 Main St, Marshfield.
